Holy God almighty in Heaven....
I just saw Episode 3 today...and daaaaaaaaamn i enjoyed it big time...Im a hopeless fan of lighsabers and stuff and E3 delivered it for me...!
OK...some buggers out there have been talking guff about the dialogue and silly shit like that...what are these people on? Are they expecting Shakespeare? It's a goddamn space opera in every theatrical sense of the word and I really enjoyed it....it didn't quite envoke that vibe I got after seeing 'The Matrix' for the first time but I recommend it to all and most of all let us know your opinions...Im fed up of reading crap on IMDB written by some barely developed moron with an ass for a head
Hayden Christensen, in my humble opinion was very good, Ian Mcdermid (if thats how the spelling goes) is great as Darth Sidious and all in all the CGI made me cake my pants - half of the stuff in that film; I cant even begin to imagine how they constructed some of the CGI never mind going about actually trying to put something like that together...
great stuff, i recommend to all...even if your not a star wars fan its good cinema viewing and worth yer loot...

Star Wars Episode III

I finally saw Episode III on DVD and by the same occasion the 6 episodes together.
Well, how did I find Ep3 ,... I am not totally sure...
It's a very enthusiastic movie; technically it's perfect with a lot of variety and complexity. Perhaps some scenes are a bit too long, but when something is good, nothing is too long.
With all due respect to your opinion Asano, I was not convinced by the acting of Hayden Christensen. To be precise, before the moment he was named Darth Vader. I don't feel him being really desperate about the fact that Padmé can die while giving birth to their children. As for Padmé herself, I know love can change everything, but she changed too much compared to Episode I. In Ep1 she is so strong and clever, whereas in Ep3 she seams too transparent and lethargic.
Okay, okay, I know that you more often talk about what you dislike because that is what your mind pays attention to...
However, I agree with Asano that it's still a great movie, very entertaining, and technically, it's perfectly done and is a must-see. (Better yet if you know Star Wars of course).
By the way, and it has nothing to do with Ep3 but I still believe it was not neccessary to put R2D2 and C3P0 in the first 3 movies ... but for sure, R2D2 has the Force in him too !
And did you see the Clones War animated Series? |
