The Chumscrubber.

Absolutely amazing-I stumbled out of the theater a little while ago. I could describe the plot to you, but I'm sure you can find it online. The cast is amazing! Glenn Close, Ralph Fiennes, Rita Wilson, Allison Janney, Lora Linney, Carrie-Ann Moss, and a bunch of others I can't place a name to. And the budget was $5 million-they all worked for scale after reading the script!

As a piece, it's a little bit of perfection. Even though the two movies couldn't be more different in most ways, the pacing and...and...SYNCHRONICITY, the little bits of significance-it reminded me of Barton Fink. With shades of David Lynch, although I'm sure that comparison is a cliche. The director is a first-timer named Ari Posin.

This is really dark, dark humor. Heathers, which this will inevitably be compared to, is a Buston Keaton slapstick compared to this. Don't ask me to explain the title. There is NO product placement or endorsements in this film-the director purposely removed all references to modern pop culture-and all has been replaced by The Chumscrubber.

Mercury, I'm sure this movie will stumble into The Neon at some point, so make an effort to see it.
