From the moment Man started to reflect upon Himself, to question his own actions and their motivations, duality within a mind or a body and multiple personalities disorders have been a great subject of discussion. In literature the most famous book is certainly Stevenson's "The Strange case of Dr. Jekyll and My Hyde" (1886) and now again it's this kind of story which serves as a reference and inspiration to a large number of authors.

I believe I am not wrong in saying The Incredible Hulk is a descendant of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, which perpetuated, in a more modern way, this story. But Mr. Hyde and The Hulk are very different physically (maybe a matter of Gamma ray I don't know, I am not a scientist). However, when I look at the Mr Hyde from LXG I cannot prevent myself from linking him with the The Hulk.

So is the Mr Hyde from LXG inspired by The Hulk who is himself inspired by Stevenson's original Mr Hyde ? Is the circle closed ?
